    Job Title: Chapter Intern

     

    Reports to: C4 Leadership/Board Liaison

     

    Function of the Position:

    The Intern supports Chapter Leadership in all aspects of chapter activities, including creating written and graphic material, preparation for and organization of activities, financials, distributing materials and representing the Chapter in written and verbal communications.

     

    The Intern must be able to do the following tasks in their job function:

    • Create written and graphic documentation using appropriate software
    • Organize and implement projects including events, programs and educational programs
    • Organize and maintain project files in a consistent manner
    • Manage multiple tasks from multiple people with potentially conflicting deadlines
    • Research and documentation to support project needs
    • Creation and maintenance of Chapter websites
    • Creation and maintenance of membership database and communications
    • Manage their own time with clear communication to the team regarding project status and requests for additional information.

     

    Requirements


    Education/Credentials

    • In process to complete a BS Architecture or BARCH Degree from a NAAB accredited university or a related field
    • LEED Green Associate

    Skills

    • Communication and interpersonal skills necessary for effective collaboration and relationship building
    • Exceptional conceptual design skills and the ability to translate them using a variety of methods including freehand sketches/renderings, graphic renderings, CAD drawings and computer models.
    • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a diligent attention to detail
    • Adobe Design CS Suite, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
    • Experience with DreamWeaver or other template driven website design software

     

    Salary:

    $12 an hour

     

    Hours:

    10-15 hours per week depending on work load
